Eight Spotted Flea Beetle

This cute little Eight Spotted Flea Beetle (Omophoita cyanipennis) was resting on the Mexican Olive (Cordia boissieri) tree.

    There are not too many bugs I think I’d label as “cute.” This one…. the Eight Spotted Flea Beetle Just might fall into that category. I’m puzzled, however. why it’s called the Eight Spotted Fle… oh wait… never mind.
